"NEWS - " FREE Walk Plans

Our Director, Andy Airey spoke on BBC Radio Cumbria this morning (Thursday 30 June) about the free Walk Plans available from George Fisher for local hotels, guest houses and B&B.

He chatted with presenter Ian Timms about the walk plans that have been designed & printed by George Fisher.

These are available free of charge to accommodation providers and even include a voucher for Abrahams' Tea Room.

The walk plans are a significant contribution to the safety of visitors enjoying the fells and have been developed in conjunction with mountain rescue. They are used by walkers to leave details of their intended route, etc., and can provide the Police and Mountain Rescue teams with potentially life-saving information.

Simply call in to the store and collect your walk plans or contact us for more details.

For now the walk plans are available as paper copies only.

We'll look at making them available online to download in the near future.
