Event Date: 21 July 2017 - 03 September 2017 Location: Around Keswick
This Summer come to George Fisher and borrow a Garmin GPS unit preloaded with a straight forward Geocache trail.
There are ten Geocaches to be found around the Keswick area. These are small boxes which are hidden and require clues for you to find. Come in store and borrow a unit from us, or we can load them up to yours if you have your own device*, we will also give help and advice on how to Geocache.
Each geocache contains a letter, once you have collected all 10 you will have an anagram to solve. Solve the anagram and give us the word it creates and you will be entered into our prize draw to win a £100 George Fisher gift voucher to spend instore or online. Everyone who completes the 10 Geocaches and gives us the correct one word answer will receive a special George Fisher 60th Anniversary pin badge.
The Garmin GPS units will be set up with Ordnance Survey maps and all the Geocache locations. This is a perfect introduction not only to Geocaching but also the use of GPS units. None of the caches are especially taxing and suitable for most.
*If you have your own GPS unit and want to do the Geocache independently, you can bring your unit into the store and we will upload the Geocaches for you. When you are instore we will register you too, as you will be entered into the prize draw.
