My 21oz Hydro Flask

A trip up Skiddaw at the weekend game me another chance to use my Hydro Flask for a hot drink.  I've always used a vacuum flask in the past, but always open to trying something new.

To say it kept my tea hot, was an understatement! It was piping hot and very welcome on the chilly summit. Having used it for hot Ribena and what I would call smelly tea (Lapsang), I am very pleased to say it hasn't retained a hint of either.  The 21oz is a nice size and slipped neatly down the side of my rucksack.

The only drawback for me personally, was the lack of a cup, as it was much too hot to drink straight from the bottle. However, if I had made my drink the perfect drinkable temperature, it would not have been a problem.

I'm looking forward to using it in the warmer Summer months to keep my water ice cold!

If like me, you like a cup with your flask, Primus do an equally colorful range!
