The winner of our second 60th Anniversary Competition is Rich Cassidy who shared this lovely story below and photo to the right on Instagram.
Back in the late 70s my parents took me to #Keswick for the first time & began a journey that is still going on today.
I'd never seen a shop like @georgefisheruk in my life, I was awestruck! I got my first walking boots fitted there and wore them until they fell apart.
I was so taken by a climbing photo in-store that I got some slate from #honister and some farm figures from the toy shop and with a bit of string made my own version of it for my best mate back home!
I go back every year with my own family and it's still as good as ever. Happy #georgefisher60th & thanks for the great memories!
I've still got that bivvy bag in the photo too! #lakedistrict
Rich wins a George Fisher 60th Anniversary Goody Bag.
