The Lake District has a special place in my heart.

My (now) husband and I had our first date in the Lakes.

Then we got married there, and later honeymooned there.

He introduced me to fell walking and running on these dates and it's now a huge part of our lives. We come down to the Lakes as much as we can - sometimes it's for running, sometimes it's for family time, usually a combination of both! Our kids now love the Lake District and are always excited about which lake or hill we are going to visit and which cafe we will treat ourselves in (Abrahams
