Junior boot exchange

To ensure your growing children are properly shod for the hills we offer an exchange service on junior boots. Subject to the condition of the boots you're exchanging, we'll offer you up to half of the price you paid for them against a new pair of junior boots.

It was George Fisher himself who created a junior boot exchange. He felt children should be encouraged to walk in the hills, but safely with their feet supported - not in wellies or trainers. His junior boot exchange afforded everyone a chance to buy into new or second hand boots. When children's feet are comfortable they are more likely to want to walk further or higher. We offer a trade-in on junior boots which helps to reduce the cost.

For the exchange we ask you to bring the boots clean, and your George Fisher receipt from the original purchase. The exchange is dependent on the boots being in a re-saleable condition; you'll get up to 50% back depending on wear & tear. If the sole is too worn or the upper is damaged then we cannot exchange, but your young hill walkers will have made some incredible memories in them.
