The essential mid-layer for mountaineering, the Men's Summit Casaval Midlayer Hoodie Jacket from The North Face is a breathable synthetic midlayer designed for a range of alpine activities.
Made from recycled materials, the hoodie can be dialled up or down depending on the temperature and conditions. Highly breathable Ventrix? insulation technology features perforations in key zones that open with movement, allowing excess heat and perspiration to escape during high-output pursuits, while remaining closed in times of rest to retain warmth.
Some features include the helmet-compatible hood, underarm gussets for full arms-up mobility and water-resistant coating that protects against light showers. As well as these, no shoulder seams mean this mid layer jacket is comfortable when wearing a backpack.
