Salewa has been in business since 1935, originally established as a Saddler and Leather Wares, the company started to trade as Salewa years later with their best-selling items being photo bags, backpacks, soccer balls and ski poles! Over the years, Salewa began to work on the development of more products, looking to revolutionise the industry with the launch of a new product and that product was the classic light crampon set, launched in the 60’s.
